Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

Tesco, Morfa Lane, Carmarthen	24hours Mon to Sat 10am to 4pm Sundays	Front of store near exits. Donated items should be purchased in Tesco at this collection point. If you do make donations from others stores it needs to be bagged and clearly marked that the items have come from another location.

Xcel Project, Llansteffan Rd, Johnstown, Carmarthen	10am to 10pm Mon to Sat 10am to 6pm Sundays	There is a collection point just inside the doors of Xcel Bowl
Carmarthen Foodbank	Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays	Monday, Wednesday and Friday: 9:30-11 or 2:15-4:00 Tuesday: 9:30-2:00 During Foodbank hours (11-2 Mon, Weds & Fri) please leave donations in green collection bins.
Poundland, Merlin’s Walk, Carmarthen	8am to 6pm Mon to Sat 10am to 4pm Sun

Morrisons, Carmarthen	6am – 10pm 7 days	Pre-packed bags of our most needed items found at front of store

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.
