Data released by the Government last week revealed that child poverty increased by 200,000 children in 2014/15, with 29% of children now classed as living in poverty.
Last year The Carmarthen Foodbank played their part to tackle this worrying problem; the foodbank provided over 500 three-day emergency food supplies to children in 2015/16.
